As an undergrad at Grace College, Betsy received the Outstanding Prospective Elementary Teacher Award. She has certainly lived up to the accolade. Her educational and certification history, which includes completion of a High Ability Endorsement, Principal Licensure Program, and Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS), demonstrates a commitment to professional growth and development in elementary education. In her current role, she works closely with teachers and families to provide support for struggling readers, particularly those with dyslexia. With a love for learning and teaching, she also has served as a dugout mom for Middlebury Little League and is and active leader in her church.
