Operations
The EV battery plant will be built on IEC Site 1, a 656-acre the Indiana Enterprise Center (IEC), a 7200-acre industrial development in New Carlisle, IN – just west of South Bend. The shovel-ready property, IEC Site 1, is part of the 2900-acre IEC Core Development. The 656-acre parcel abuts heavy haul route State Road 2, providing easy access to U.S. 31, I-80/90 and I-94.
The facility will operate 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
