INTERN Connect

The INTERN Connect Summer 2026 calendar planning is underway and will include opportunities to learn and network with other interns through professional development and social events. Whether a manager or intern, once you sign up for the program, we'll deliver full details and information about all the exciting 2026 events. Here's a snapshot of the calendar to date:

• Tuesday, June 2: Summer Program Launch, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 9: Virtual Summer Program Launch, 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.
• Friday, June 12: Small Scale Development & Entrepreneurship, 3:30-5:00 p.m.
• Thursday, June 18: YP Perspective @ The Museum Campus, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 23: South Bend Cubs Outing with YPN, 6:15-9:00 p.m.

• Week of July 6: planning in progress
• Wednesday, July 15: Next Step Advice: Resume & Linkedin Tips & Review, 8;30 – 10:00 a.m.

Since 2014, interns have consistently shared how the INTERN Connect Summer program has positively influenced their perception of the South Bend Region and enhanced their internship experience. Please encourage your interns to participate by reminding them of upcoming events, giving them the time to attend and covering any related costs. If you’d be interested in sponsoring or hosting an intern event, let us know!
