Racism and systemic injustice cannot be tolerated.

We, like all Americans, watched in horror the event that resulted in George Floyd’s death. Like so many, we are heartbroken, angry and hurt. The Chamber stands with our community in understanding the social injustice and systemic racism that impacts so many lives…our fellow neighbors friends, colleagues and loved ones.

What can we do about it? How can we really help? What we do know is that we don’t have all the answers. But we want to be part of the process in finding them. First by listening and working with our other community partners in implementing meaningful solutions.  

At the heart of the South Bend Regional Chamber, we are the voice of business. The economic vitality of our region is critical for its growth—that includes its people. People drive community. We are one. We can do better, and we are determined to do so.
