Externship Program Underway this Week

Bridging Theory & Application

Published Monday, June 24, 2019

Communities across the country are successfully integrating education and business through educator externship programs, bridging classroom theory to real-world application. This summer 47 educators in the South Bend Region will spend time working and learning with area businesses to help their students prepare for future careers. The first cohort launched Monday, June 24.

This program would not be possible without the commitment from our business partners. We would like to thank them for opening their doors to host an educator and help bring awareness to the many career opportunities available in the region!

If you’d like to learn more about how your business can connect with educators and students, please contact Kate Lee, director of talent engagement, 574.400.4030.
