Welcome to MFG Days 2022 - a program showcasing today's modern manufacturing and the fantastic education, training, and career opportunities available in the South Bend region.
Launched locally by the South Bend Regional Chamber, Greater Niles Chamber and area businesses and educators, we focus on creating and curating a wide range of resources to shine a virtual spotlight on local manufacturers and manufacturing-related career opportunities. Throughout the month of October, we'll work to connect educators, students, and the community to these resources and a series of Career Chats. This exploration will prepare students and educators to connect with industry partners for live tours and classroom visits throughout the school year to see the manufacturing workforce in action.
Each October, MFG Days programming provides the opportunity to:
- Learn the truth about manufacturing and manufacturing careers
- Inspire a new generation of manufacturers
- Learn what is being made in our community
- Encourage entrepreneurship and inspire creativity
