Be part of the story! We are the oldest fair trade organization in the world, established in 1946 by a woman, Edna Ruth Byler. Currently we work in 30 developing countries, partnering with 22,000 artisans creating handmade gifts, jewlery, and decor items. We are seeking a seasonal part time assistant manager from mid-October through Dec 31st to help in our fair trade retail shop, as well as offsite events in the community. The hours would be a mix of days, nights and weekends and would average about 10-15 hours a week. The Assistant Manager would work alongside the Store Manager in running the business through the holiday season, but would also work independently. There would be paid training beginning in October and would include: register and cash handling, visual merchanding, inventory, customer service and offsite sale procedures.

This position pays $10 an hour and includes a 20% discount.

Job Requirements:

 Prior retail, customer service and cash handling experiences are all very helpful but not required. Must be 18 or older and have daytime, evening and weekend availability.
