Job Description:

Our Construction Intern is responsible for the following:

Corporate Office:

  • Assist the Director of Construction with Preconstruction tasks
  • Direct interested bidders to project plans, specifications and bid documents via bid invitation letters
  • Assist with maintaining Procore containing electronic plan rooms, specifications, documents out to bid, prequalification forms, status of bidders and subcontractor database
  • Responsible for adequate documentation of all bidding communication and estimates
    • Includes but is not limited to:
      • Managing correspondence and creation of pre-closing RFI's
      • Other correspondence with the Architect, Owner and Engineers
  • Assist with entry level material estimates
  • Document and track all bids received via Sterling data storage locations
  • Submittal review and distribution
  • Led by Director Construction Services


  • Daily safety audits, material tracking and site logistics
  • Quality Control inspections and punch list coordination
  • Daily subcontractor coordination
  • Plan review, (RFI) request for information documentation
  • Perform all the above and other duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Don’t sell yourself short. Our Construction Interns must have the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled to obtain an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
  • Successful accomplishment of Construction Management courses 
    • Minimum 2 semesters
  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Windows required
  • Must possess strong skills in verbal and written communications and mathematics
  • Possess fortitude to complete assigned tasks
