24 HOURS of CODE
Learn to Code During 24 HOURS of CODE Beginning July 19!
The Chamber is proud to collaborate with the IT Sector Partnership South Bend | Elkhart and South Bend Code School for the inaugural 24 HOURS of CODE event beginning at noon on July 19 through noon on July 20. The goal is to introduce as many community members as possible to coding over a 24-hour period.
In today’s society, a solid understanding of technology is becoming increasingly important. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, by 2020, there will be 1.4 million computer science-related jobs available with not enough trained professionals to fill them. Various sites throughout the region will host one-hour, learn-to-code sessions. No programming experience is required. To find a site near you and get signed up, click here.
Open to anyone and everyone of all ages! Have fun and learn-to-code!
